PubMed is the free, searchable interface to the MEDLINE database, and is provided by the National Library of Medicine. It provides access to over 29 million citations and abstracts from the biomedical literature. The New PubMed, as it's being called, is the updated interface that has been rolled out by NLM and will become the default in 2020. The New PubMed is fully responsive and mobile-friendly!
This guide was created for those who are new to searching or need a quick reference. It includes guidance on how to begin a search, use Medical Subject Headings, and find full-text articles. If you would like to meet with a librarian to discuss your research project, contact the library to schedule a consultation.
