To attach a PDF to a reference:
- Select the reference in your library.
- The Reference Panel on the right displays information about the selected reference.
- In the Reference Panel, click on the paper clip icon at the top.
- Choose the PDF on your computer. Once added, it can be viewed by clicking on the file name at the top of the Reference Panel.
To annotate the PDF:
- First, select the reference and click on the attached PDF at the top of the Reference Panel.
- The PDF will be displayed within the Reference Panel. To expand it, click on the Open PDF icon in the toolbar above. It is the icon on the far left.
- Using the toolbar above the PDF, you can add sticky notes, highlight, underline, and strikeout text. You can also search the full-text of the article.
- Remember to click on the save icon in the Reference Panel toolbar.
NOTE: If the PDF is older, or if it's from a scanned image, some of the annotation features may not work.
