Grand Rounds: Exporting from Databases

Supplemental Guide to resources covered in Grand Rounds Workshops

Exporting References

Exporting References

Instead of creating references in EndNote from scratch, many databases give you the option to "export," "send to," or similar. This downloads a file that EndNote can read and automatically create and fill in the information for the new reference.

You can still edit the reference if you need to. For information on setting up Find Full-Text in EndNote or attaching downloaded PDFs to your references, see the EndNote tab in this guide.
