UpToDate Database & App

In order to track CME credits, you must create your own UpToDate account.

To create an account, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Click on the UpToDate database link in the box above (if prompted, sign in with your Library Resources credentials). Once the database loads, click REGISTER in the upper right corner. If the "Register" button is missing, then click on LOG OUT in the upper right corner, then click REGISTER.

  2. Fill in the required information on the registration page. You can choose the same username and password as your Library Resources credentials to make things easier.
  3. Click SUBMIT REGISTRATION when finished. UpToDate will display an activation message and send a confirmation email. Click on Log In to enter your credentials and start tracking your CME credits.

Very important:

Each time you access UpToDate, check to see your name in the upper right corner of the database. If it says Marshall B. Ketchum instead, click on Log Out, then click on Login, to put in your own account credentials to get your CME credits. If you forget your login information, click on the "Forgotten your Username or Password" link and you will receive an email with login help.

Using the UpToDate App

Works on IOS (ipad & iphone) and Android (tablet & smartphone) devices.

  1. You must have an UpToDate account to use the UpToDate App. If you need to create one, follow the same steps in the box above as you would to be able to track CME credits.
  2.    Have at least 50 MG free on your device. Beyond that, the app uses about as much memory as an average app. Content from the database doesn't get stored on the device.
  3.    Download the app on your device (search your app store) and login with your UpToDate account information. The app will remember you and you will not have to login again unless you purposefully logout of your account on the app.
  4.    Every 3 months, you will need to log into your UptoDate account on a desktop computer (via the library UptoDate link) to re-verify yourself so your account on the app continues to work.
