Preceptors, Residents, & Outreach Faculty Guide: ClinicalKey - Database & App

In order to track CME credits, you must create your own ClinicalKey account.

To create an account, follow the steps below:

1. Click on the ClinicalKey database link in the box above (if prompted, sign in with your "Library Resources" credentials). Once the database loads, click REGISTER in the upper right corner.

2. Fill in the required information on the registration page. You can choose the same username and password as your "Library Resources" credentials to make things easier.
3. Click REGISTER when finished. ClinicalKey will display an activation message and send a confirmation email.
4. In the confirmation email, click the link to activate your account.
5. Click on Log In to enter your account credentials and start tracking your CME credits.

Very important:

Each time you use ClinicalKey, make sure your name is in the upper right corner of the database so that it tracks your CME credits. If you forget your login information, click on the "Forgotten your Username or Password" link and you will receive an email with login help.​

Using the ClinicalKey App

Works on IOS (ipad & iphone) and Android (tablet & smartphone) devices.

1. You must have a ClinicalKey account to use the the App. If you need to create one, follow the same steps in the box above as you would to be able to track CME credits.
2. Download the app on your mobile device (search the app store) and login with your ClinicalKey account information.
