Provided by the NIH, the National Eye Institute site provides research, data, and resources to eye healthcare professionals, as well as helpful and educational materials to consumers and communities.
A service of the National Library of Medicine with over 21 million citations for bio-medical articles dating back to 1948. Excellent for finding evidence-based medicine articles and case studies.
Along with patient care information, UptoDate includes a Patient Education section under Contents with most materials available in Spanish too.
To use the mobile app, go to UpToDate through the library website and create an account. Then, go to your device's App Store and download the UpToDate App. Open the app and log in to the account you just created, and you will have free access to the app.

At this time, premade PubMed queries have not yet been created for each objective. But where objectives remain the same from 2020 to 2030, you can use the resource below to get the latest articles that relate to each objective.
Healthy People 2020 Structured Evidence Queries
Provides pre-made PubMed searches for each of the Healthy People 2020 objectives.
1. Click on the link, simply scroll down, and expand the last category for Vision.
2. Click on the “PubMed Search” icon next to the objective that you are interested in. It will automatically take you to a search results page in PubMed for that objective.
